Description
EDC16 Flasher is a tool for reading/writing microcontrollers MCP5xxx series. The microcontroller is used in car electronics mainly in stearing engine ECU (electronic control unit) units of BOSCH EDC16, SIEMENS 5WS-202 and French SID803/SID803A. There is no need to move out of the car the ECU unit for reading/writing eprom and flash memory space. This tool lets you write down whole memory space to a single file on a HDD (hard drive) for editing. You do it in a simple way with english software installed on your PC which is also included within the pack. From the level of aplication you can choose ECU unit EDC16xx, 5WS-202 or SID803(A) and the type of microcontroller MCP5xxx.
Examples of using EDC16 Flasher
- reading/writing flash/eeprom from EDC16xx, 5WS-202 or SID803(A) units. No dissmounting required.
- You can read and edit bin file in any other editing aplication and then burn the chip MCP5xxx used in any other electronic appliances.
