This Interface is destineted for flashing memory of your main car ECU. (listed down the manual). You can download the flash bin files from the main ECU and keep a copy of one safely on your HDD. You may also experiment with your car modifying the BIN file so as to give your engine more power. You may flash back your ECU from your HDD if your ECU has crashed its root file. It prevents you from spending great money in a service stations.
It’s also possible to flash the ECU on a benchwork. All you need is a good stabilized Power Supply 12 – 14V 500mA and to know which are pins for Power/GND and data K-line. of your ECU.
